Michaela and Delaney are inseparable cousins. They have been thick as thieves since they met when they were three. They've been lucky enough to cackle across the globe together (Delaney has the most infectious laugh - keep your ear out for it). When not laughing, Michaela can always rely on Delaney to give her honest opinion and check her sassiness. Delaney just received her PhD. in immunology from Dartmouth, but she would much rather talk about knitting. She is an incredibly skilled knitter (she knit the sweater she's wearing in her photo, and made me a matching one as well).

John and Andrew have been friends since before either of them remember. As family friends, they’ve had many vacations together and have always been a part of each other’s lives. John always knows that Andrew is there for him, and Andrew knows that even though John isn’t the most communicative, John still cares greatly for his friend.

Since Freshman year in high school, Michaela and Alex have been holding on to each other for dear life. At this point, they've been laughing and crying together for 15 years. Without fail, Alex is the friend who always puts in the most effort. Alex's friendship is in part directly responsible for the mission of the Lumena Foundation Michaela and Andrea co-founded. She is your strongest advocate and unlike Michaela will promptly reply to all your messages.

John and Jeremy have known each other since Freshman year of college where they took First Year Experience in Musicality together. After a year of being friendly, they started hanging out more, and started making music together. This culminated in their band, Plastic Owl, and have been great friends since. Jeremy is a no nonsense kind of guy when he’s serious, and an all nonsense kind of guy when he’s not. He’s also a great person to talk through your woes with as he’s getting his counseling degree currently, and can carry an in depth conversation on almost any topic you can think of. 

Michaela has been looking up to Veronica since Freshman year of highschool. She inspires Michaela to be brave in all things. In short, she is an absolute bad*ss who takes no prisoners. Like Alex, Veronica's friendship is in part directly responsible for the mission of the Lumena Foundation Michaela and Andrea co-founded. She is an incredible writer, poet, and advocate.

Ari and John have been friends since college and have played much Dnd together over the years. Ari is a friend John can bring stupid thoughts on philosophy to, as thats what his degree is in, as well as any stupid ideas he has when it comes to crafting. Ari is an avid motorcycle rider, horse rider, 3d printing enthusiast, welding hobbyist, and all around creative person. He is also a proud new business owner and public insurance adjuster in the state of South Carolina.

Clara and Michaela met first semester Freshman year of college and have been fast friends since (11 years). Michaela can talk to Clara about anything. You can count on her to make bonfires in the woods and to dance in the rain or under the moon. Without fail Clara makes Michaela smile and feel seen even on the worst days. It is an established fact in their friend circle that Clara gives the best hugs.

John and Sam have been friends since junior year of college, lived together during the pandemic, and are bandmates in Plastic Owl. Sam is the silliest person I know with one of the  most serious jobs out there, and is one of the theoretical physicists working on quantum computing. When Sam is not working, he can be found solving Rubik’s cubes, making up his own version of english , and harassing his cats, Ozzy and Dio.
